The Bluebell Railway is a great unusual wedding venue. The Bluebell Railway is a heritage line, that runs for nine miles long the borders of East Sussex and West Sussex and is run mainly by volunteers. Steam trains run between Sheffield Park and Kingscote, with a stop at Horsted Keynes.

You have two choices of where to have the wedding ceremony, either at Sheffield Park, where the wedding ceremony takes place in the Birch Grove suite, or at Horsted Keynes. The Horsted Keynes venue is the 1930’s station waiting room and has a maximum seating capacity of 40 guests - ideal for an intimate wedding. The wedding reception may be held either at Sheffield Park or on board one of the trains, which I think is by far the better and more romantic option.
