Modern contemporary wedding photography, for us at Blue Square Images, is about telling a story in pictures of your special wedding day. That is our aim as modern and contemporary wedding photographers. Photography that show spontaneous emotions of you and your guests having fun as your day unfolds.

Wedding photography has changed so much over recent years, with many styles, ranging from traditional  wedding photography to modern and contemporary wedding photography, informal to more reportage and photojournalism styles of wedding photography. With this in mind, it is important that you choose a style that not only suites you, but tells that story of your wedding day and is presented in a stunning way.

Relaxed, informal and unobtrusive contemporary wedding photography…the best way to enjoy your great day

Our informal approach to wedding photography allows you to spend much more time with your family and friends, rather than spending your valuable time having group upon group pictures taken. As well as this extra time enjoying your day, you will be much more relaxed and this will show in your photographs.

We prefer to work unobtrusively, observing what is happening around us and capturing real moments as they happen and not dictating it for you. The majority of pictures taken are captured without the subject being aware that they are being photographed.

We do appreciate the importance of the family group photographs and are more than happy to incorporate them into your day. However, we do recommend keeping them to a minimum, as from Paul’s experience on the other side of the camera as a groom, they do take time and keep you away from having fun with your family and friends.

If you do want the multiple group style photography, then unfortunately we are not the wedding photographers for you.
