For our special day we both knew what style of photo’s we wanted and that was to have as many casual and natural photo’s as possible.  We both spent a considerable amount of time scouring the web looking at various sites. Paul’s was one of a few that we settled on as the style & quality was just what we were after with the web site professional and informative.  The final decision was made easy by speaking to the various photographers direct.  Lorna could instantly tell from speaking to Paul that he was the man for us as he was genuinely interested in our day and we could tell he would do every thing possible to make our day as perfect as he could.

We were very impressed with the personal touch that went with the service, the pre-wedding meeting that was at a time to suit us was very useful, not only did it put our minds at ease that we had definitely picked the right man but also gave us a chance to get to know Paul and discuss exactly what we were after.

When the big day came Paul was a saint and helped out Lorna enormously when he arrived at the hotel to take some pictures of her and the bridesmaids getting ready.  The way in which Paul handled the day was professional and discrete and I lost count of the number of people that came up to us and said what a nice chap our photographer was!

Of course when the photo’s were available they did not disappoint, in fact they were amazing and Lorna’s natural female concerns of “oh I’m going to look horrible” instantly forgotten.  We loved the way the photo’s could be viewed by all on-line, this gave us plenty of time to decide on the photo’s for the album, although the mock album that Paul designed and put together was practically perfect anyway leaving us to just change a few of the photo’s around which made the whole process so much easier.

When the album arrived we were completely overwhelmed by the whole thing, the quality and attention to detail was second to none and we are very proud to say we haven’t seen another album that comes close to ours!

So if you are looking for something very special for your perfect day we can honestly say you will not find any better than Paul, his personality, expertise and quality will not disappoint.

And for the lovely dvd gift, it’s amazing…and has made us all very tearful when watching it! What a wonderful keepsake (and the confetti shots are really great to watch..almost looks like film in slow motion)!
 
It really was a pleasure to meet you and have you there with us on our special day, you instantly made us all feel comfortable and relaxed which I think comes across in our lovely piccies.

Paul is particularly strong at reportage photography. The ability to tell a story through pictures and capture the atmosphere of a moment as well as the whole day is a rare skill.

From the outset Paul understood what we were trying to achieve and his pictures of our wedding capture the informality and intimacy that was so important to us. Polite and unobtrusive Paul produced the most beautiful images of the day and subsequently worked closely with us to help us construct the album. We believe that the results are spectacular!

We saw Paul’s website via a fairly random web search for a modern style of reportage wedding photography for our big day, but we didn’t know we were going to be quite so lucky to find someone of his considerable talents and genuine customer service attitude! Having met Paul at our house, he immediately became our first. The quality of his work speaks for itself, what is unique is Paul’s style and genuine interest and concern that he told the story of our big day in a way that reflects us.

Some of the amazing pics Paul took of our day in Greenwich are now all over our house! He was amazing from start to finish, the effort he put into getting to know us (and our dogs!) was worthy of a medal. The time we spent at the venue on preparation was totally beyond the call of duty and all became clear when some of the cool ideas for shots he came up with, really came off on the day. This effort also meant that during our day, we were so relaxed that he had everything in hand, I think I forgot about him until remembering to offer him a glass of champagne!

On the day Paul put every effort in that could ever be asked, from the bride’s preparation to the groom’s nerves, the ceremony and coming back to our house for many more hours than he should have done….the thing that really sets Paul apart in our view, is his commitment, personal style and dedication to getting the shots that wow anyone who sees our amazing album. No-one there really knew he was taking the shots which worked so well with the style of wedding we had, relaxed and laid back without hours of formal shots. In 20 minutes he got the group photos nailed and his endless energy in getting those lovely informal shots was amazing. Maybe it is his really cool experience in the film and sports world or just a genuine talent, but whatever he is, if you are looking for a unique style to set your wedding photos apart, done by what feels like a friend…don’t hesitate in speaking to him.

He obviously gets a huge kick out of what his does, which draws you in…it is fascinating to watch someone who really has an eye for an image at work like that. The album design Paul came up with blew us away and the quality of the end product stands apart from any other album we have seen. I know we are biased but the modern design, ultra high quality materials and style just hit all our buttons.

We can only thank you again Paul for all the hard work you put into our album, something that we cherish and look at always. The follow up prints now decorate many houses across the world!

My fiance and I found that selecting a photographer for our wedding was one of the most important decisions of the special day. Everyone told us that the day would pass so quickly, and indeed it did, that we really wanted the our album to reflect the mood of the day as well as capturing all the moments that we would miss out on.

It was such a relief when we meet Paul, he was friendly and really listened to what we wanted. We discussed what photographs we wanted taken on the day and explained that we would prefer a relaxed feel to them, capturing ourselves and our guests as they are.

The walk through at the venue really made a difference, and was a great suggestion as it saved time on the day. Having this time with Paul made me relax on the day and i felt confident that he would capture everything we had set out.

When we received our photographs we were blown away by his work and quantity of photos he produced. So may were fantastic that we had a difficult time choosing which ones we wanted in the album. Paul couldn’t have been more patient with us, and we had a follow up meeting to go through the layout of the album.

We were so happy with the finished photos and my parents had an exact copy in miniature made. Many of our relatives ordered copies online from Paul and all commented on how reasonable the price was for individual photos.

So Paul, thank you for making our album so special, giving us the memories to look back on again and again!
